event village

The Event Village is where the action starts! It will be located on the Kings Domain lawn area on the corner of Linlithgow Ave and Government House Dr. This is where all participants will meet before the event at the registration table and finish up at the end of the run/walk for the presentations. There will be plenty of activity going on here before and after the run/walk including a sausage sizzle, coffee cart, kids activities, displays and stage performances.

registration table

If you have registered for the run here on our website, please go to the registration table in the Event Village around 30 mins before your start time to collect your race bib. If you purchased a Run For Freedom t-shirt, you will also collect it at the registration stand. If you are bringing a friend with you who needs to register on the day, its best to arrive 45mins before the start time to avoid crowds, they will need to complete a paper registration form, pay by cash or eftpos ($5 extra on the day) and be allocated a bib.

start line & time

The 8km run will start first at 8am, followed by the 4km run or walk at 10am. Both take off from the Event Village in Kings Domain on the corner of Linlithgow Ave & Government House Dr.
